Legal Notice

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Welcome to STUDEO HUB®.

This Legal Notice identifies the person responsible for operating studeohub.com and explains the basic legal rules governing access to and use of the website.

For the detailed rules governing accounts, Bookings, payments, cancellations, Studio Owners, reviews and Events, please see our Terms of Service.

1. Website operator

STUDEO HUB® is operated by Andrea Loriente García, a sole trader registered in Spain, with NIF 48032531K, business address Carrer de la Indústria, 303, 08041 Barcelona, Spain, and contact email [email protected].

2. What STUDEO HUB® is

STUDEO HUB® is a digital marketplace built for the movement community.

We provide technology that helps Artists discover and book independent Studios and Rooms available for rehearsals, teaching, creation and other movement-related activities.

STUDEO may also allow users to discover, create and publish:

  • Open Classes;
  • Workshops;
  • Masterclasses;
  • training sessions;
  • auditions;
  • dance and movement Events;
  • other community activities.

STUDEO HUB® is an intermediary marketplace.

Unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular service, STUDEO:

  • does not own the Studios listed on the platform;
  • does not lease the Studios to Artists;
  • does not operate or manage those Studios;
  • does not provide the underlying Room rental;
  • does not employ Studio Owners;
  • does not provide the Open Class, Workshop or Event published by an independent Organizer.

For a normal Studio Booking, the underlying Studio service is provided by the Owner and the agreement for the use of that Studio is entered into between the Artist and the Owner.

STUDEO provides the technology and marketplace infrastructure that allows them to find each other, book, pay and manage the transaction.

3. Studio Owners control their own prices

Studio Owners remain free to determine the prices at which they offer their Rooms through STUDEO.

STUDEO does not set or impose the rental price that an Owner must charge.

An Owner may determine and modify its prices subject to:

  • applicable law;
  • existing confirmed Bookings;
  • pricing information already communicated to a consumer;
  • the technical rules of the platform;
  • any applicable taxes.

STUDEO may establish technical parameters concerning how prices are entered, displayed or processed, but those technical requirements do not give STUDEO control over the commercial price chosen by the Owner.

4. Future pricing recommendations

As STUDEO grows and obtains sufficient marketplace data, we may introduce tools designed to help Owners understand demand and make informed pricing decisions.

For example, STUDEO may eventually provide optional insights based on information such as:

  • historic demand;
  • location;
  • Room characteristics;
  • booking times;
  • day of the week;
  • seasonality;
  • availability;
  • comparable marketplace activity;
  • other aggregated marketplace data.

These tools may include suggested pricing ranges or other commercial insights.

Any such recommendation will be informational and optional.

The Owner will remain free to:

  • follow the recommendation;
  • ignore it;
  • set a higher price;
  • set a lower price;
  • change its price independently.

STUDEO will not automatically impose a recommended Room price on an Owner unless the Owner expressly activates a future automated pricing feature that clearly explains how it works and allows the Owner the level of control required by applicable law.

The availability of pricing analytics does not change the fact that the Owner is the independent supplier of the underlying Studio service.

5. Prices shown to users

Prices displayed on STUDEO are based on information provided by the relevant Owner and on the applicable Booking configuration.

Before an Artist completes a paid Booking, STUDEO will display the price and other information required by applicable law.

Where applicable, the price shown to a consumer will indicate the total amount payable and the applicable treatment of taxes or mandatory charges.

Owners are responsible for providing STUDEO with accurate pricing and tax information relating to their underlying service.

6. STUDEO's marketplace fee

STUDEO earns revenue by providing marketplace and technology services.

For standard Studio Bookings, STUDEO's marketplace fee is currently 15% of the Relevant Booking Amount.

Where VAT applies to STUDEO's marketplace fee, the applicable VAT is already included within that 15%.

VAT is not added on top of STUDEO's 15% marketplace fee.

The majority of the Booking amount therefore corresponds economically to the Studio service provided by the Owner, subject to applicable refunds, cancellations, taxes, chargebacks or other adjustments described in the Terms of Service.

STUDEO's fee remunerates services such as marketplace access, discovery, Booking infrastructure, payment facilitation, platform administration and related technology.

7. Studio and Event responsibility

Studio Owners are responsible for the services, premises and information they offer through STUDEO.

This includes responsibility for matters legally attributable to the Owner such as:

  • the accuracy of the Listing;
  • availability of the Studio;
  • access to the premises;
  • condition of the Studio;
  • advertised facilities and equipment;
  • legally required licences and permits;
  • applicable insurance;
  • health and safety obligations;
  • compliance with applicable occupancy requirements;
  • performance of the booked Studio service.

Similarly, where an independent Organizer creates an Open Class, Workshop, Masterclass or other Event, that Organizer is responsible for the underlying activity, including its content, instructors, safety, capacity and legally required authorisations.

Publication of a Studio or Event on STUDEO does not mean that STUDEO owns, manages or operates that Studio or Event.

8. STUDEO's responsibility

STUDEO is responsible for operating its own marketplace and technology service in accordance with the obligations that apply directly to STUDEO.

STUDEO is not responsible for obligations that legally belong to an independent Owner, Artist, Organizer or third-party provider.

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Spanish or European Union law.

9. Platform availability and technical incidents

Technology occasionally has bad rehearsal days too.

STUDEO uses reasonable professional care to maintain the availability and proper functioning of the platform.

If STUDEO becomes aware of a material technical incident affecting core functionality, we will:

  • investigate the incident promptly;
  • take reasonable steps to limit its impact;
  • escalate the incident to STUDEO's specialised technology providers where necessary;
  • use commercially reasonable efforts to restore the affected core functionality within 24 hours.

The 24-hour period is a service remediation target and not an absolute guarantee that every technical incident can be fully resolved within that period.

Certain incidents may depend on independent infrastructure or services including:

  • Stripe or other payment providers;
  • hosting providers;
  • database providers;
  • banking networks;
  • telecommunications providers;
  • external APIs;
  • cybersecurity investigations;
  • other infrastructure outside STUDEO's direct control.

Where an incident reasonably requires more than 24 hours to resolve, STUDEO will continue to use commercially reasonable efforts to restore the affected functionality.

Nothing in this section affects mandatory statutory rights.

10. Third-party technology

STUDEO relies on specialised third-party technology to operate parts of the marketplace.

Current infrastructure may include providers such as:

  • Stripe — payment and financial infrastructure.
  • Supabase — database, authentication and backend infrastructure.
  • Vercel — hosting and application infrastructure.

Other specialised providers may be used for services such as email, notifications, monitoring, security and technical infrastructure.

These providers operate infrastructure that STUDEO does not fully control.

The use of a third-party provider does not remove STUDEO's own legal obligations, but STUDEO cannot guarantee the uninterrupted operation of infrastructure operated independently by third parties.

11. Search results and ranking

STUDEO may organise and rank Studios, Rooms and Events to help users find relevant results.

The main factors may include information such as:

  • location;
  • requested date and time;
  • availability;
  • Room characteristics;
  • capacity;
  • price;
  • amenities;
  • filters selected by the user;
  • Listing relevance;
  • Listing completeness;
  • ratings and reviews;
  • reliability or responsiveness;
  • Booking activity;
  • other factors relevant to the user's search.

The relative importance of these factors may vary according to the search.

STUDEO may develop its search and ranking systems as the marketplace grows.

Where legally required, the main parameters determining ranking and their relative importance will be explained in STUDEO's Terms of Service or the relevant interface.

12. Promoted listings

STUDEO may allow Owners or Organizers to purchase additional visibility.

A promoted Studio, Room or Event may therefore appear more prominently than it otherwise would in search or discovery areas.

Where required by applicable law, paid placements will be clearly identified as Promoted, Sponsored or equivalent.

Paying for promotion:

  • does not change the Owner's ability to set its own Room price;
  • does not guarantee a Booking;
  • does not guarantee a particular amount of revenue;
  • does not guarantee permanent ranking position.

Promotion affects visibility, not ownership or control of the underlying service.

13. Use of the website

Users must use STUDEO lawfully and responsibly.

You may not use STUDEO to:

  • carry out illegal activities;
  • impersonate another person;
  • provide fraudulent or deliberately misleading information;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the platform;
  • introduce malware or malicious code;
  • access systems or information without authorisation;
  • perform abusive automated scraping;
  • infringe intellectual-property rights;
  • misuse personal information;
  • manipulate reviews;
  • circumvent STUDEO's security or Booking systems;
  • use the platform in a way that unlawfully harms STUDEO or another person.

STUDEO may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform or applicable legal rights.

14. Intellectual property

The STUDEO HUB® name, brand, visual identity, logo, website interface, software, original text, design and other original STUDEO materials are owned by STUDEO HUB® or used under appropriate licence.

Access to STUDEO does not transfer ownership of those materials to users.

Users may not reproduce, commercially exploit, modify or distribute STUDEO intellectual property without permission except where permitted by law.

Content uploaded by Owners, Artists or Organizers remains subject to the ownership and licensing provisions set out in the STUDEO Terms of Service.

15. User-generated content

Users may be able to publish content including:

  • Studio photographs;
  • Room descriptions;
  • profiles;
  • reviews;
  • Event descriptions;
  • Event images;
  • other materials.

The person publishing that content is responsible for having the rights necessary to use it.

STUDEO may remove or restrict content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights or breaches the Terms of Service.

16. Third-party links

STUDEO may contain links to:

  • external websites;
  • maps;
  • social-media services;
  • payment providers;
  • Event registration services;
  • other third-party platforms.

A link does not mean that STUDEO owns, operates or endorses that third-party service.

Once you interact directly with an independent third party, its own terms and privacy policies may apply.

17. Privacy and cookies

STUDEO processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

The use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in the Cookie Policy.

Where consent is legally required for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, STUDEO will request that consent before activating them.

18. Bookings and contractual conditions

This Legal Notice does not contain the full contractual rules governing STUDEO Bookings.

Those rules are contained in our:

Terms of Service

and, where applicable:

Cancellation & Refund Policy

They explain matters including:

  • Booking confirmation;
  • payments;
  • payouts;
  • STUDEO's marketplace fee;
  • cancellations;
  • refunds;
  • reviews;
  • disputes;
  • Studio Owner responsibilities;
  • Open Classes and Events.

Users should review those conditions before completing a transaction.

19. Changes to STUDEO

STUDEO is still growing.

We may introduce, modify or remove functionality as the marketplace develops.

That may include:

  • new search features;
  • pricing analytics;
  • recommendation systems;
  • Event discovery;
  • Open Class Booking;
  • new payment functionality;
  • promotional tools;
  • additional markets or currencies.

Where a change affects contractual rights or obligations, the Terms of Service will be updated and any notice required by applicable law will be provided.

20. Applicable law

This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to mandatory protections provided by European Union law or the law applicable to consumers in their country of residence.

Nothing in this Legal Notice deprives consumers of rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

21. Disputes and contact

If you have a question, complaint or legal concern regarding STUDEO, contact:

[email protected]

For consumer disputes, jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with applicable consumer and private international law.

Where a dispute is exclusively between STUDEO and a professional or business user, the jurisdiction provisions contained in the STUDEO Terms of Service will apply where legally permitted.

22. STUDEO HUB®

STUDEO connects the people looking for space with the people who have it.

Owners control their spaces. Owners control their prices. STUDEO builds the infrastructure that connects them to the movement community.
